International Airline Training Academy (IATA) is based at Ryan Field
near Tucson Arizona.
We are looking for Flight, Ground and Aviation Language Instructors.
There is now an extreme shortage of Flight Instructors in this country.
The Airlines have been hiring all the warm bodies they can find because
of the general shortage of more qualified pilots. This has resulted in
re-thinking the way training is done.
There are now opportunities for getting qualified to teach both ground
and air. Persons with aviation language background especially radio
language are needed for second language training of foreign students.
We also hire seasonal Instructors for winter flying in the mild
southwestern desert.
We are currently seeking all CFI's entry level Thru Senior with salary
based on experience. We are a large school doing standardized Airline
ab-initio training with over 300 students. The flying in Arizona is year
round with little chance of canceling a flight due to weather.
Instructors can build time up to the max FAR limit if desired.
We will help with financing for those desiring to obtain their CFI or
other advanced Instructor ratings.
Most of our students are here under contract with Foreign airlines and
leave with 20 or 50 hours of turbine time, depending what they are going
to fly when they go home. As one group leaves another one arrives so the
number of students is consistent. This allows a stable employment
opportunity.
When moving to Arizona, IATA will assist with accommodations.
For those schools training new pilots this is an excellent opportunity
for your Students to advance quickly with their aviation careers.
If you have current or future CFI Students interested, please let them
know about us.
