FYI for advanced registration which starts next week:

Students who need MGMT courses should get the required override form the Management Department as soon as registration starts in order to make sure they can get into the class they might need. Remember everyone needs an override for MGMT courses if they are not in a College of Business major. Aviation students will get overrides for MGMT courses in their major as long as seats are available. I believe this also applies to other upper division courses from the College of Business.

Don't forget to sign up for summer flight courses. The summer flight courses have worked very well for students because the two hour class sessions mean each course meets fewer days which makes it easy to meld with work schedules, etc. Summer is also a great time to fly because the long days mean more instructor and airplane availability, etc.

Shawn Howren, the STC tower manager, has agreed to teach AVIT 315 Introduction to Air Traffic Control in the fall.
