FLIGHT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

We provide maintenance, avionics, ramp service, fuel sales, aircraft
charter, management and aircraft sales/acquisition.   Jet Source is

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

      *     Receive and coordinate air transportation requests for
transportation.

      *     Schedule appropriate equipment and flight crew.

      *     Effectively and accurately communicate all aircraft schedule
information to owner, flight crew and maintenance employees.

      *     Provide a high level of customer service.

      *     Establish and participate in security procedures to protect
the aircraft and company facilities.

      *     Plan and coordinate utilization of aircraft and flight
crews, ensuring that all requirements regarding applicable department
and federal safety         regulations (such as equipment currency,
pilot currency, flight and duty time) are met.

      *     Work closely with chief pilot and maintenance managers to
confirm the availability, currency and fitness of pilots and aircraft.

      *     Establish and maintain lists and contacts with
aviation-related vendors that meet the highest standards of the company.

      *     Provide flight-following services to keep company management
up to date on aircraft deployment.

      *     Communicate information to pilots en route in the most
efficient manner.

      *     Coordinate the activities of the maintenance department with
flight operations to achieve the company's goals and objectives.

      *     Prepare and obtain manifests, over-flight and landing
permits and other required documentation for aircraft flights, both
domestic and                         international.

      *     Arrange ground transportation in coordination with trip
activities.

      *     Arrange for aircraft catering when necessary.

      *     Accommodate special requests whenever possible.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

      *     Be able to work and communicate with all members of the
flight operations and maintenance departments, customers, and vendors.  

      *     Detail-oriented and able to follow complex instructions
while under pressure.  

      *     Demonstrated ability to work well with others as part of a
team.  

      *     Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.  

      *     Ability to problem solve.  

      *     Excellent communication and reasoning skills.  

      *     Computer literate.  

      *     Flexible and able to rapidly deploy resources.  

      *     Able to work outside of and in addition to normal working
hours.  

      *     Maintain strict confidentiality when working with sensitive
issues such as security and aircraft and company information.  

      *     Ability to adapt to change and remain mission oriented.

 

 

Previous job experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must
be able to work any shift, and participate in on-call rotation on
nights, weekends and holidays.
