Airport Operations Internship Summer 2007

McGhee Tyson Airport- Knoxville, TN 

The Lorenzo D. Grant Internship Program is a chance for one aviation
student from an AAU school to work in our Operations Department and
learn first-hand how an airport functions.  The chosen intern will be
paid $8.50 an hour with a maximum of 40 hours per week.  The student
will also be given a brand-new laptop to use during their internship.
Upon completing their time with us, the student will get to take the
laptop with them. Transportation and lodging will be provided by the
airport.  

Application packet for the Lorenzo D. Grant Internship Program is
available on our website at www.flyknoxville.com/employment.htm.   It
provides a brief explanation about our airport, the internship and
instructions on how to apply for the internship.  We are now accepting
applications for our internship that begins in May 2007 and is completed
in August 2007 (start and end dates are negotiable).  We believe this
will be a wonderful opportunity for students to gain practical
experience in various airport roles.  In addition, the interns will be a
great asset to our team! 

The deadline to apply is Monday, April 2, 2007, at 4:30 p.m.
