FBO CUSTOMER SERVICE INTERNSHIP  (post graduates accepted)

Job Summary:  To work as a team to assist our internal and external
customers in a professional and friendly manner that achieves the
directives of our company mission statement.

 

Duties:

*	Checking in arriving flights - Determining departure date,
obtaining Crew names and contact numbers, receiving fuel and service
requests, assist with outbound catering needs.
*	Coordinating with Line Service to make sure that service
requests and pull-ups are completed in a timely manner
*	Serve as a Host/Hostess to passengers traveling through the
facility - offer coffee, help with faxes or photo copies, offer tours of
1st floor 
*	Answering Telephones
*	Collect for service rendered 
*	Familiarize yourself with hotel options available to flight
crews 
*	Making Hotel, Limousine, Catering and Rental car reservations
for arriving and departing aircraft - communicate confirmation
information with external customers as requested either via Fax or
e-mail.
*	Maintain appropriate amount of local handouts for crews
(directions to hotels and restaurants)
*	Complete Enterprise Rental Agreements - obtain valid credit card
and unexpired drivers license
*	Other duties as required working with technology tools:

FBO Manager - Concierge and Invoicing software-Passur Portal - Flight
tracking software-Outlook - E-mail Software-Internet Explorer - Internet
Software-Fax Machine-Copier-Toshiba  Multi-Line Phone System

 

   Qualifications:

*	 Junior/Senior majoring in aviation and enrolled in internship
course at university
*	Post under-graduates or graduate students will be considered as
long as enrolled in internship course
*	Show interest in FBO management/GA operations
*	Able to pass background, drug and alcohol checks.

 

   Compensation:

*	$12.00 hr.
*	Some assistance in helping to find housing

 

    Application process:

*	Fill out application (obtain in SCSU internship office HH 103)
*	Turn in application, cover letter, and resume by May 14th 2007

*	Provide three references
